These wedges match
the playing characteristics of the gold line tour and offset irons
respectively. They are good for tight lies because of reduced bounce angles
and for players who prefer very little bounce in sand or for those who
prefer to create their own bounce by opening the face of the wedge. They are
a particularly good sand wedge in hard sand conditions.
The 53 and 57 models are a
more classic sand wedge with a larger flange and more bounce. They assist
those who prefer bounce on their wedges for playing sand shots. The wedges
are easy to play from softer sand.
The
534 and 574 models are
another classic design with four way roll on the sole. They have more bounce
and the rolled sole provide easy sand shots from soft conditions.
