Teaching Philosophy:

The most enjoyable aspect of my profession is helping players maximise their potential, watching a pupil improve and learn the skills to lower their golf scores is as exciting for myself as it is for them.

The relationship between swing changes and equipment is very close.  Being rewarded for the correct motion is paramount.  Equipment is reviewed before the instruction begins.

Teaching programmes are structured to cover all aspects of the game, woods, irons, short game, putting and course management.  Improvement is only limited by lack of practice and playing.  Constructive practice leads to enjoyable practice.  Pounding golf balls on the range often creates frustration.  A structured learning programme is certainly beneficial.

We have a print up on the wall in our teaching area which reads “a journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step”.  I believe this quote reflects what golf is all about.  It certainly is a journey with many steps and as a golf coach my priority is to help you make those steps as enjoyable as possible.

Facility Overview:

Werribee park golf club has a 12 bay driving range, chipping greens and putting green.

It is based on a 18 hole championship course. We ultilise Video analysis technology including the famous “swinger” swing anslysis software.

On course tuition is available and the facility is available for teaching seven days per week.

Lesson programmes vary from pupil to pupil.  After a profile on the green we tailor the lessons to maximise the results.  We all learn in different ways, feedback from clients is important to us.
