Teaching Philosophy:

My teaching philosophy is firmly rooted in helping golfers and aspiring golfers achieve their golfing aims and ambitions.

When golfers are on their own road to personal fulfillment they enjoy the game more, are more likely to stay with the game and encourage their friends and family members to play.

Golf is a game of many parts, but at its heart it is a game of ball flight and the pleasure and enjoyment of the hit.

The golf swing motion, the golf club and the ball flight go hand in hand. The Henry Griffitts Golf Training Centre is for me the perfect golf teacher’s tool box. I use it to build, on the range, a golf club that more accurately fits the golfer and which enhances the all important ball flight and positively influences the golfers’ swing motion and balance.

An accurately fit golf club’s effect on ball flight is immediate. From this flows improved sensory feedback from the hit, which better matches the ball flight that the golfer is observing.

From this point onwards the swing motion, especially the balance and rhythm, improve dramatically.

I have been an H-G Certified Teacher for over 16 years, during which time several truths have become very clear to me:
